Virtual Agency Developing Sleepyhead Bed’s “Give the Gift of Dreams” Program

This holiday season, Virtual Agency will be helping to promote a donation event for its client partner Sleepyhead Beds called “Give the Gift of Dreams” adopt-a-child program. With the help of designer Kenzie Miljavac, we are moving forward on creating elements that will attract shoppers at designated stores to purchase bedding/pillows for a child and educate shoppers about Sleepyhead Beds. These elements include: custom ornaments, posters, thank you cards, envelopes, email design and web graphics for social outlets. We hope that each of you will visit these stores at some point from November 24th - December 8th to participate in the program.

If you are unavailable to make it to a store but still want to contribute to the cause, see the information below on how you can help:

1. Contact Monica Starr for a child to adopt, at 816-547-9965, ext. 3.
2. She will provide the name, age and bed size of an area child currently sleeping on the floor, shared sofa, without a bed.
3. We ask that each sponsor purchase sheets, a pillow, and a blanket appropriate for the gender and bed size of the child. You may also include 1-3 books that would be appropriate for the child, as an extra gift if you choose. However, we are not able to accept additional items (i.e., toys, clothes, food) as we may have more than one child in a household and want to be fair.
4. You will also need to include cash or a check for $20 (made out to Sleepyhead Beds) and place this donation in the envelope provided. These funds will pay for the cleaning and delivery of a bed for your child.
5. Fill out the sponsor name and address card. (We want to mail a thank you note and donation receipt for tax purposes to you!)
6. Please place all of the items in the bag provided.
7. Drop off bag between the hours of 10am-2pm on December 9th to Annabelle's Linens (11547 Ash Street, Leawood, KS 66211) or December 10th to Black Bamboo (114 Southwest Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64108).
8. Bags and beds will be delivered to children December 12th - 18th in time for them to enjoy their new bed and bedding for the holidays.
