As we prepare for next Thursday's Entrepreneur's Exchange, we have a few items in store to get everyone in the mood as well as into the mindset of what makes an entrepreneurial mind, well, entrepreneurial.
The video above was inspired by a lecture that best-selling author and noted expert on changing the world of work Daniel Pink gave at the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA).
When you consider what's being presented here -- an insightful look at what is motivating in the workplace -- it shouldn't come as a shock to realize that true entrepreneurship isn't simply about business acumen. An entrepreneur also knows how to enable and elevate those around them and provide them with the opportunity to do their best work. As David Ogilvy once said, "Hire people who are better than you are, then leave them to get on with it. Look for people who will aim for the remarkable, who will not settle for the routine."
[And for you creative types that love this sort of of presentation animation, the RSA website has many more videos in this style.]
