In the Spirit of Thanksgiving

What pairs better with a smorgasbord of Thanksgiving chow than a comfy bed to sleep off the food coma?  Food and shelter are the most simple of gifts we often take for granted. This year Virtual Agency is working with Sleepyhead Beds to help deliver an often over-looked need: beds.

Did you know that one in 42 Kansas City children lacks a bed to call their own? They lie on the floor. They crowd in bed with their siblings. They sleep in a shelter.

Here are a couple ways you can help this holiday season:

  1. Register for ad2’s Art of the Call, to take place on Dec. 1 at the Vox Theatre. Proceeds will support the Virtual Agency & Sleepyhead Beds.
  2. Participate in the “Give the Gift of Dreams” adopt-a-child program.

We hope you have the time to reflect on your personal blessings this holiday season and carefully consider how to extend those blessings to those less fortunate individuals in need around you. Sleephead Beds is certainly a great way to do just that.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
