The following are three brief messages from the Presidents of AAF-KC, ad2 and Art+Copy Club introducing and/or reintroducing their new officers and committee chair appointments.
AAF-KC
Posted by Kevin Fullerton
We’ve held our general election, our executive election and now we’ve completed our committee chair appointments. The AAF-KC Board of Directors is set for the new programming year. The board is committed to leading the AAF-KC and contributing to the advertising community. Meet our Board of Directors here!
But we still need more people. In fact, we need you. If you are interested in helping out by volunteering for one of our committees, please contact director Sarah Dyerson, or myself.
We’re looking forward to another successful year at the AAF-KC.

Yo, Voters. Nice job. I’m yours for another year; and I bring with me a team of 13 aces who aim to represent the 32-and-younger KC Ad Community in an epic way.
The new ad2 board earned their prestigious seats by throwing themselves into the organization and dreaming big dreams of local industry achievements. They’ve networked their names off during waking hours, and they’ve volunteered their non-billable time during sleeping hours.
We’re going to knockout some killer initiatives in the upcoming year, but we’re not doing it alone. Interested in diving in? Call me up.
Art+Copy Club

The Art+Copy started off the new council session holding the first meeting since 2011 council elections. The meeting introduced new members Lori Akers, Travis Kleiner and Brent Davidson to the board while thanking outgoing members Amy Young, Jeff Berney, Hilda Awad-Brown for their remarkable work. Meet the entire board here.
One new change was voted in creating a fulltime Vice President’s seat. Adam Seitz was the chosen candidate. I became the club President as Jeremy Johnson will take over membership.
Art+Copy Club’s first event will be held on September 22. Keep an eye out for details. If you’d like to volunteer for this event or help with any events in the coming year feel free to contact me.
