The Kansas City ad community was buzzing last night in what has become -- both for better and worse -- the single biggest annual focal point for our industry. Here's a topline of the quick hits and soundbites around the big game.
- Tug McTighe, Executive Creative Director for Callahan Creek, ran down this year’s standouts and disappointments for Fox4 News.
- J. Anthony Snorgrass, Associate Professor of Communications at Avila University, Peter Meyer, writer/director/editor at T2 Films, and Chris Riebschlager, who is just starting a new job as a Designer/Developer for Barkley, appeared on KCUR's Central Standard to review the winners and losers in last night's big game of marketing.
- Steve Bernstein (Bernstein-Rein), Randy Robinson (Kuhn & Wittenborn), Tim Galles (Barkley) and David Thornhill (Meers) played monday morning quaterback for Paul Koepp over at the Kansas City Business Journal.
- And don't forget about the great grandaddy of Super Bowl advertising snarkfests, American Copywriter's AC Bowl podcast with John January (SHS) and Tug McTighe.
- Load of action last night on Twitter. For a recap of the fun, check out the #barkleybowl, #acbowl12, #SBexp, and #MeersSB hashtags.
Until next year...
