Intake Studios Adds Producer And Marketing Director To Its Roster

Intake Studios, a motion design and video production house, has hired a new dynamic duo - Patti Broyles Harper as Producer/Project Manager and Emily O’Brien as Marketing Director.
As Producer/Project Manager, Patti's roll will be handling production and project management in the Wichita office. Her comprehensive film and video know-how will be vital to producing Intake's large-scale productions. She’s well entrenched in both broadcast media and the film industry, which is why Patti is equally as comfortable producing an attention-grabbing motion graphics project as she is a full blown, big budget live-action shoot. She’s most known for her years of service as Director of The Kansas City Film Office where she brought in more than $80 million direct dollars to the economy with projects including HBO’s Emmy-award winning TRUMAN, Robert Altman’s KANSAS CITY and the largest single project, Ang Lee’s RIDE WITH THE DEVIL. Her close working relationships with local officials and departments (including the mayor’s office, streets and traffic, and police departments) coupled with her extensive production experience make her the perfect person to have on your side during shoots!
Patti has an unbelievable “make it happen” drive that is freakishly contagious and is a welcome addition to each project she touches. (We’re pretty sure they all turn to gold, but we’ll let you see it for yourself.) Her clients have included Garmin International, Motorola, Bayer, Tyson, Sprint, Kansas Tourism, Missouri Tourism and Walmart along with numerous local and regional companies.
As Marketing Director, Emily O’Brien will be spearheading the marketing effort for both the Wichita and Kansas City studios. A native from the outskirts of Chicago, Emily returned to the city after graduating KU and credits all her rapid problem-solving speed to the get-it-done-now-means-it-should-have-been-yesterday-even-though-you’re-justhearing-about-it-now environment she was trained in. During her early broadcast media days, she was a Voice-over Agent at Geddes Agency before moving on to assorted topnotch, high-end recording studios and production companies – ARU Chicago, Broadview Media and Mythic Pictures respectively.
Her involvement and experience to all facets of the industry is what gives her such a strategic edge. She knows where each party is coming from before they even sit down at the table, and she’s got a knack for anticipating client’s needs. (Must be all her years in client services.) This has allowed her the ability to weigh in on numerous creative pieces ranging from radio and TV commercials to audio books to television programs on network cable. Emily has helmed projects for McDonald’s, Chevy, HGTV, Harpo Productions, Sprint, Holt McDougal and more. In addition to various social media efforts, she plans to continue to fuel the creative fire and make Intake burn bright all the way to the coasts.
