Lured by the scent of fresh chili powder and kidney beans, over one hundred people attended the CHILLYs this past Thursday. This no-holds-barred chili cook-off featured fifteen of the finest chili chefs north of the Mason-Dixon Line, all competing for the coveted first place Chili Pepper.

Congratulations to Austin Bickford (AKA “The Pope of Chilitown”) whose chili took home the most first place votes and the coveted trophy. Sam Meers ("Brookside's Best") received the second most votes, although it’s not known whether they were for his chili or his handy keg of Tank 7. Sarah Dyerson ("Chili to Dyerson For") received the third most votes for her mustache. Everyone else who attended took home mild acid reflux.

Thanks to Tallgrass Brewing Company for the providing the barley and hops and Bark Productions for hosting the event.
