Art of the Call – Ad 2 Volunteers Needed

Attention all AAF-KC members! Ad 2 is in need of volunteers for the second annual bingo benefit, Art of the Call. This event was created to help raise money for the philanthropic organization selected by Ad 2’s Virtual Agency, and this year’s recipient is reStart, Inc.

If you are interested, reliable and want to get involved with this fun bingo and silent auction benefit, just show up to Barkley on Tuesday, September 25 at 5:15 p.m. (1740 Main Street, KC MO 64105)

reStart Inc. is a non-profit charitable organization committed to providing shelter and supportive services to homeless men, women, youth and families with the goal of helping them move toward independence and self-sufficiency and ending homelessness in our community. reStart, Inc. was founded in 1981 at Grand Avenue Temple United Methodist Church in downtown Kansas City. reStart provides more than 110,000 bed nights of emergency and transitional/permanent shelter to approximately 11,000 homeless men, women and families with children. Other services and programs offered through reStart include hands-on job training, educational assistance, support groups, life skills classes and licensed therapy sessions.
