Announcing the 2011 Ad Club Foundation Scholarship Recipients

The Ad Club Foundation Board awards annual scholarships to college students in the Kansas City metro area who are passionate about advertising, marketing, graphic arts, design and more.

This year, 17 students were chosen to receive $750 per semester, the counsel of a local advertising professional to mentor to them, one-year student membership with the American Advertising Federation of Kansas City (AAF-KC), free attendance to all AAF-KC related events (excluding ADDYs) and membership with the National American Advertising Federation.

Tonight these scholarship recipients will be introduced to the Kansas City scene at their own reception being hosted by the Ad Club Foundation Board and their mentors. A champagne toast will be made to the upcoming learning and development of these bright, young minds and then they will be joining the AAF-KC membership for our annual Marty.
