AAF-KC Membership Committee Answers Corporate Membership Questions

Hello from the AAF Membership committee! We are Ad2 membership chair Nancy Pinkston, Art & Copy chair Dustin Schirer, AAF Corporate Member representative Phil Bressler and me, Sara Soseman, VP of Membership.  We will all be working hard this year to make sure we provide the most value possible to our membership base.

Our first order of business has been to revamp and relaunch our membership program for corporate entities. We have simplified and streamlined corporate memberships. If your company signs up as a corporate member, every single individual that works for your company instantly becomes a member of the AAF! This will eliminate hassles for our corporate members to manage their internal AAF roster and juggle paying or reimbursing individual memberships.  So, how does this affect you? Let’s play choose your own adventure, and pick your path.

I am an individual member. (Read the first section below.)

Individual Memberships

Communications were sent out last week to individual members to renew their memberships. You may have received an invoice if your membership has lapsed, or if your membership is about to expire. Before you renew, check to see if your employer is going to continue to be a corporate member of the AAF. If so, your membership will be covered. If not, we have made individual renewals easier than ever. Simply purchase your membership here, on the AAF site!

Corporate Memberships

Communications were also issued last week to all existing corporate members. All corporate memberships will renew in July, moving forward. Expired or expiring corporate members were issued invoices good for July 2012 to July 2013. All other corporate members were issued an invoice for the new corporate member levels, prorated to July 2013. If you renew a corporate membership, please do not pay for additional individual memberships – all employees are now included! Corporate members also gain additional perks – eligibility to sponsor and host events/programs, post jobs to the AAF job bank, receive discounted ADDY awards entries and lower rates for company employees to attend AAF events, including educational seminars, speakers and programs. You can simply call 816.822.0300 or pay the invoice to renew and continue your benefits through July 2013!

If you have questions about the new corporate memberships, please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly.
